Snacks have lost their luster
If you read back a couple weeks on this blog, I wrote a post about choosing snacks for pre-school and how I bought 3 snacks and had to have the coolest one. And I did... (insert applause here) Sponge Bob cheez-its were cool and I'm sure the kids LOVED them. Well, next Thursday is my next scheduled snack day. And the thrill of buying the biggest and baddest snack has mysteriously disappeared. I'm not sure what's wrong with me. Maybe it was just because it was the first snack I was buying as a mom and that was the exciting part about it... who knows.. but anyway, I bought the snack for next week. It is a 12-pack of Walmart peanut butter crackers on sale for 1.67. What has happened to me? I've gone from Sponge bob to Walmart in only a months time... There goes the "cool mom-cool snack" idea. Better luck next time I suppose. I am scheduled to bring a halloween snack for the fall festival... maybe I'll redeem myself then.

Don't worry. It's not the snacks that are important. Its the cool party treats that really not only get the attention of the kids but also the parents. You think it bad now wait until Bryce is in school. But by then I will have three in school and snacks and treats will be based solely on price and not coolness! Carey
Hey, Mannings! (Thanks, Tony, for giving me your blogspot today... although I forgot it and now know about 10 other Mannings on blogspot) Your kids are so adorable, and congratulations, even though I'm a few months late!
