As Brayden gets older, his excuses for not wanting to do things are becoming more clever and "unique". Most of the time, I can't help but laughing. Yesterday was no exception... It went something like this
ME: "Brayden, I need you to finish eating your waffle"
Brayden: "No, I can't"
Me: "Yes Brayden, you need to eat your waffle before you do anything else. There will be nothing else to eat until snack time"
Brayden: "Noooo, I CAN'T....!"
Me: "Well, why not?"
Brayden: "Because... Because there is a bone in it"
By far, my favorite excuse yet.
