our trip to SCOTLAND!!!

Tony and I went travelled to Scotland earlier this month. We were previewing a Sr. High mission trip for next summer. Tony was originally planning to go by himself but I found an unbelievable round trip flight and 11 days prior decided to book it. The kids stayed with Colleen and I'm so very greatful for her! It was a hard decision to go out of the country with a 11 week old baby but I knew I wouldn't at all be nervous leaving them with Colleen. Glasgow, Scotland is amazing. The city is gorgeous, the old streets breathtaking and the architecture is amazing. We met with a IMB missionary there. She formerly lived in Indy and was a friend of mine so it worked out perfectly. We were able to get a great idea of what we will be doing next summer.... working in a local school putting on a "kid's club". Also, while in Scotland, we were able to taste the local cuisine- fish and chips and cow intestines are just a few... Tony and I spent a night out on the town and went to a nice pub dinner and to a show (Guys and Dolls) one night. We also took a train to the capitol of Scotland, Edinburgh, and toured the famous Edinburgh Castle... again, breathtaking and huge amounts of history. I missed the boys while we were gone but it was a great trip and a once in a lifetime trip and I'm so glad that I went!...
