Picture Day...

ok, So I'm loving every single minute of this "preschool" thing.. Forget the knowledge that Brayden is gaining, or the friends he is making, the songs he's singing, or the socialization he's receiving with other kids his age. I mean.. come on, that is all secondary to the preschool experience to a MOM. To us, it's all about the cute outfits, the snacks, the scholastic book orders, and PICTURE DAY!

Today was Brayden's very first picture day. What is a mom to do? Well... find the cutest outfit imaginable of course! I thought he looked pretty darn spiffy... if I do say so myself. However, it was cold outside this morning so I put a hat on him for the ride to school. When we got there and pulled his hat off, his hair was sticking straight up! After a quick trip to the nearest sink, we splashed his hair and attempted to smooth down the fly aways. Shoo..! was that a close call! Thankfully, I went with Tony to take him to school today... I'm sure if I wasn't there, Tony wouldn't have paid attention to the hairs standing on end and then what kind of first school pictures would we have had!? "Picture viewing day" is in 2 weeks. I have never heard of "picture viewing day". I thought they just compiled a package and sent home the pics. But now, it is a scheduled appt for the parents to come in and select their favorite "pose" and order from there. Preschool is for yuppies.
