First Day-Part 2

Ok, so pick up was WAY more fun than drop off! It felt so official, so "mom-like"... it was great... for those that know me, my one dream in life is to be a soccer mom and to bring cool snacks to a game... well, my dream is one day closer to being achieved... waiting in line to pick your son up from preschool is a close second to "soccer mom" status! Each parent was given a lamenated name plate to put in your car to identify what child goes in what car. So as I waited in line (car 3-ok, I was anxious!), I could see Brayden's class turn the corner. They were walking in single file line. They each had their backpack in tow. So adorable. They then sat in the corridor and the teacher and the children's minister brought the children out one by one holding their hands. I was thrilled to see Brayden. I quickly asked Brayden about his first day of school and he eagerly told me about the "cool snack". Ut oh, competition! Man, whoever that mom was that brought snack in today, I have a lot to live up to be the coolest soccer snack mom. My snack day is next Thursday... stay tuned!
