What a great day!! Tony has taken the next 2 days off and it's been great to have him home. This morning we decided to show Tony the water park and slide that Brayden and I ha
ve spent a lot of our days visiting. Brayden conquered his fear of the slide last week and went down all by himself! He's so proud. He also got a "big boy" haircut this week eliminating all off his b
eautiful, mommy-loving curls. His "new do" makes him look like quite the big boy. I just marvel at each day's new accomplishments. He seems like just yesterday that he was just learning to sit up and now he's single handedly mastering the slide at the "big kid's park".

Our cruise is rapidly approaching. We only have 6 weeks to go. I'm not sure who's more excited. Tony and I or my dad and stepmom. They are keeping Brayden for the week and it's almost like a long awaited vacation for them! It's great!
Tony and I have spent a lot of time recently concerned and praying for our student and family friend BJ Higgins. After travelling to Peru for a summer mission trip, he has developed a very serious illness and has been in the ICU for a little over 2 weeks now. BJ is a tremendous kid and he heart for the Lord is amazing. I have definitely been challenged by him in the last few weeks. For more info, www.prayforbj.com
Last but certainly not least, we are very excited about a big date coming up... Tony is being ordained!!! He has long held to the believe that he should not be ordained while he was single. So yea, I know, we've been married for 5 years.... I don't really know the answer to that either. But you know how life just seems to fly by... sooo here we are. September 11th is the big day. I'm probably looking forward to it more than anyone. I'm just so proud of Tony. He is such an amazing man with such an amazing heart. I can't wait!
