BRYCE ANTHONY MANNING...

He's here! Bryce Anthony was born on 7/11/06 at 9:21 pm. He is 6lbs 5 oz and 20 in. long. He came at record pace. I started feeling contractions at 5:00 that evening... left for the hospital at 7:30... and he was here at 9:20! I'd much rather have a delivery such as this rather than a long drawn out labor. The epidural never quite took effect... but the pain was far removed once I was able to hold Bryce. He's a joy already at only 5 days old. He is sleeping all day... (notice I didn't say "and night") He seems to have his days and nights confused, he wakes at around 10:00 ready to tackle the world and challenge his lungs and our patience . We are sleep deprived and worn out. Tony and I would be able to sleep while he sleeps ... but Brayden seems to have a different agenda! I have been conscious of trying to spend most of my extra free time with him so he doesn't feel lost in the shuffle. Our friends and family have been more than gracious to us as they have provided meals, company, and "Brayden-outings". He made his first trip with Johnny yesterday to "Dicks Sporting Goods" to look at fishing stuff! How funny. Johnny does not have kids yet so I wondered how the trip would go but Johnny seemed to make it through and Brayden loved the blizzard he got on the way home! I have yet to venture out of the house other than to retrieve mail but I'm not sure if it's because of Bryce or because of the 90+ degree weather outside... Anyway, I thought I'd post pics to Bryce so you all could see!
