Birthday Party

Wednesday was Tyler Walkup's, a friend of Brayden, 4th birthday party. It was held at a beautiful state park, Fort Harrison, and they had tons to do. Matt, Tyler's dad, had scheduled pony rides and a cookout for the kids. Brayden couldn't quite grasp when "his party" was going to be but we're working on it... at least now when you ask him when his birthday his, he will respond "November 16". Of course, he has no earthly idea when that is... one step at a time I guess! Brayden did great at the party.. being one of the youngest party guest (the remainder of the kids were from Tyler's daycare class so I'm assuming they were all close to 4 as well). Brayden LOVED the pony (Peaches) and has continued to talk about him. He was very proud of himself for getting on the horse....


As a side note, we've been teaching Brayden to say "cheese" for pictures... it looks kinda silly but almost like Tony's smile in an odd kinda way huh?


Bryce was great (being his first real "outing") the whole time....

Oh wait, he did get hungry once... but we were able to feed him in the car while the rest of the kids were taking their pony rides.

Overall, it was a great day... great for us all to get out of the house... together. It was good for Brayden to have something to do and to spend time with his friends. The only thing that would make the day any better is if I could just wear something other than maternity clothes!!!! I know, I know... patience is a virtue!
