Long Awaited Updates...

Whew... we've been busy! Tony has taken the next two weeks off. Brayden is loving every minute. We have constructed gingerbread houses, put our tree up, ate at a special pizza restaurant where a train delivers your drinks, saw santa, and sang carols at a nursing home.
(Pictures to come!)

It's now just 2 days before Christmas, the day in which we celebrate the birth of Christ, our Savior. And yet it seems that we all get so consumed with the daily requirements (so we say) of life, that we fail to remember the true reason for the season. I am so thankful this year that the Lord has blessed me tremendous gifts this season. I am a wonderful husband, vibrant 2 year old, and a new blessing coming in July! The Lord has blessed us with our second child. We can not wait to welcome this new child into the world.

For those who have been ferventing praying for my grandmother and those who have thought about her and asked about her, I thank you! She is still in the hospital in Kokomo. Her fever has yet to go down under 100 and the doctors are unsure of the cause at this point. She has pulmonary hypertension, diabetes, and kidney problems. My uncle (her son) is her primary physician and I know that he must be tired. My mother has been at the hospital for 8 consequetive days and i know that she is weary as well. Our family was able to go to Kokomo last weekend. It was bitter sweet. It was great to spend time with my grandmother but to see her in this condition was scary. Please continue to pray for healing and peace.

Tony's mother is doing outstanding. Test results showed that the mass on her pancreas was nothing more than scar tissue! How encouraging. She is feeling great and Tony is anxiously awaiting her homemade stuffing in just 2 days!
