This weekend, I am in Hartford, CT visiting a college friend... truly one of the greatest. I found an amazing ticket price awhile back and decided to bite the bullet and go. Tony is the most amazing husband ever and is home with the kiddos and was wonderful about allowing me to travel. I am having the most amazing time ....relaxing, shopping, eating, sleeping IN, watching movies, etc. I'm a firm believer that taking small getaways, vacations, etc. only makes you a better parent. I miss both boys dearly but know that they are fine.
UPDATE: I am now home. Bittersweet. what a great time it was to be able to get away and relax. Spending time with Jenn is always priceless. It is always treasured time, great conversations, and never awkward no matter how much time has been since last seeing each other. A true friend. I am so thankful, so blessed, and so fortunate.

Tony did a REMARKABLE job while I was gone... both boys were clean, the house was clean, AND Tony surprised with with fixing a part of the door frame outside that needed replacing. I was WAY impressed and extremely proud... just meaning that it's safe to leave more often ey...

OK, that is crazy I am in Mass. right now flying home tommorrow night. Just me and the boys, visiting my family. Maybe see you in the Bradley airport.
