Brayden finally sat on Santa's lap. I haven't really forced the issue because we definitely tell him that there is more to Christmas than Santa..... Brayden has been afraid of him and would not come within a 10 foot radius of Santa when/if we are in the mall. The past two years, Brayden has RE-FUSED to even look his direction. Last Friday, a friend and I took our kids to the mall to shop for their "daddies". Brayden's friend, Philip, told him that he would go see Santa with him so he wouldn't be scared... So nice. I thought for sure the bribe wouldn't work and that we were standing in line and wasting time... but sure enough, Brayden did it! Philip went with him at first and assured him that "santa is SOOO nice" and then Philip hopped down and let me put Bryce there for a picture... As you can see, I should now start praying for a friend for Bryce that will do the same for him in a couple years...
