Our annual trip to the circus... Each year, a large group from our church goes to the circus on opening night. This year Tony was out of town so I asked my mom if she would like to join us. We had a great time... and having grandma with us meant Brayden was extra spoiled with "circus" goodies. He had nachos, some pretzel, an icee in a circus cup and cotton candy. Bryce stayed home as the circus is typically over around 10 or 10:30. Brayden had a great time and was glued on the circus the entire time. We went to greet the clowns before the circus started and athough still hesitant, Brayden wasn't nearly as afraid of them as he was last year... making progress...!
As a side note, this family (the McLain's)below is very near and dear to us... It was such a blessing that they were here. Last year, Michael was serving in Iraq and Christina brought her daughter by herself. When we stood to sing the national anthem last year, it had renewed meaning for me as someone so close was fighting overseas. We have prayed diligently for Michael and he is now home!!!! Praise the Lord! Christina has become a great friend of mine and I just love being with her and her girls. They also help to ease my own longing for a girl... ;)
