What a great day! The Sapps (our new neighbors and Brayden's life long friend!) and our family went to pick pumpkins today. Ok, so Tony was just out for the cidar but I think he enjoyed the rest of the day too! Brayden, as always, was a hoot.
Brayden spends 3 days a week with Evan ... as his mother, Shelley, keeps Brayden while I work. It's amazing to me to watch them... while they are together, they fight over the same toy, hit each other with toys, or mind their own business.... yet Brayden can't wait to see Evan every day! It cracks me up...
Another exciting part of the day is that Brayden experienced his first pony ride. We attempted the same feat a couple months ago but he was very afraid of the pony. Dad walked next to him and he LOVED it. It's that so similar with what we do with our heavenly father.
Sometimes we are so afraid to do something new, travel down a new path, etc but God promises that He will walk by our side the entire time! A very neat moment for me to witness.... Brayden completely confident... even letting go of the saddle because of his confidence that Tony would not let him fall.
Brayden ended up picking a spectecular pumpkin... we actually got three.. one for each member of the family... Abby just got.. well, she didn't get anything on this trip. Brayden looked like such a little man as he assisted Tony in carrying the pumpkins and putting them in the wagon. He loves helping and being a "big boy" Below are a few of my fav. pics from the day:
