It's a rainy, dreary day today. A good day to count down the days before our long anticipated cruise vacation with friends. 110 days and counting...
This week has started great. We have started a tradition of a Monday movie night with friends of ours. They are tremendous people with unbelievable hearts for the Lord and for each other. Tony and I take so much away from our times with them. The best part is that it's nothing they say, it's the example of a Godly couple and Godly parents that they display. We are so thankful to have them as friends and examples of what we strive for.
We have started a new Saturday night study. We are studying the Song of Solomon, a study on love and romance. It's amazing what you learn about yourself and your spouse in studying with other people. This week, we discussed the importance of men treating their wives with tenderness and wives treating their husbands with respect. Although, it sounds quite trivial, it has been enlightening to me this week in the way that God tells us to treat our spouses and that the way that we, as humans, do on a daily basis. I am so blessed with such a Godly husband and friend. He is a tremendous father, support, and companion. I am so thankful that the Lord crossed our paths.
I am off work the next few days and eagerly await the time with Brayden. We plan to get pictures taken, get a hair cut, walk to the pond, play with our newest neighbor Evan, and cuddle on the couch watching the Wiggles and Jo Jo. I can't wait to get home today to hear his precious laugh and see his beautiful smile. I can not wait for my friends to experience the joy of children. Their lives will be changed forever...
