Preschool Feast

Today, we had a Thanksgiving meal at Brayden's pre-school. Fun and good food was had by all. Brayden wore his "turkey shirt" along with the entire 2 year old class. The class made the shirts last week with finger paint on their hands and puffy paint. Brayden is very proud of his shirt :) He also made a turkey placemat listing all the things he was thankful for. I'm assuming the teachers wrote out the things that the kids individually mentionned they were thankful for (for instance Brayden's had popcorn on it). His list also included "dog" which was a sad moment for me... Every once in awhile, Brayden asks about Abby and when she's coming home... Recently he said out of the blue, "I really love Abby!" So sad. The big moment today at the lunch however was when one of Brayden's teachers came up to me and said something like this, "I just wanted to find you and tell you that Brayden makes our job so much easier. He is such a great kid and such a great listener. He does everything we ask and had such a good nature" ... and ...and... on and on (I missed the rest of what she said because my head was growing at such a rapid rate that I'm sure it was above the clouds at that point) Now Lord only knows... maybe the teacher went to every single parent there and said that same thing but who cares! Granted, Brayden is 3 and does some unbelievably silly things and doesn't listen occasionally... but overall, he truly is A GREAT KID!
